Erin and Adam were married in October. I started out with the ladies at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel to photograph the details and some preparation candids. I think Erin has to be the most chill and easy going bride I have ever photographed. She was calm, cool and collected the entire day…the kind of person you just want to be friends with. We met up with Adam and his boys in the lobby of the hotel for the couples ‘first look’ reveal. Adam was mesmerized when he saw his bride for the first time on their wedding day and Erin was bright eyed and all smiles. I love capturing these ‘first look’ reveals. It is one of the most intimate moments of the day.
Erin and Adam opted to do the majority of their photos before their ceremony, which is a great time savor, gives us more time for photos, and really makes the day feel relaxed and not so rushed. Their venue was the Ancaster Mill so we decided to do their photos along Wilson Street in Ancaster (which is just around the corner). Wilson St. is the hub of Ancaster and has some really cute shops, church’s and a Town Hall which are all great locations for photos.
The ceremony and reception were both at the Ancaster Mill…another favorite venue of mine. It has all the pretty you could ask for and it’s a one stop shop….no travelling needed. The two exchanged vows surrounded by candlelight and with all of their love ones there to witness their love and commitment to one another. Then it was time to celebrate with great food, homemade cider, a fabulous candy bar, hilarious speeches, and lots and lots of dancing! Congratulations Erin and Adam! Cheers to a life full of nights to remember!
